2007 Season - Week 8
H is for Happy (Part 2)
In week 7 The Perivale Pirates scored 55 points as H made the Scoring Hall of Fame for the 2nd time this season (and 4th time overall). He is on pace for 705 points destroying the current season record of 574 set in the inaugural season (1995) by Johnny and matched by Wayne in 2004. Less than half way through the season The Perivale Pirates are 82 points ahead of their nearest rival Binty Bombers. The largest margin of victory to win the Papas Fritas Trophy is 67 points when in 1997 Gully outscored H. It should be noted that last season Ron won the Conference with a 106 point advantage over Wayne. H’s main scorers are the Patriot pass/catch combo of Brady to Moss. These 2 players have scored 168 points – that’s more than the entire teams of 6 owners have managed!
Can He Kick It
Yes he can! Congratulations to Tennessee kicker Rob Bironas who in week 7 kicked an NFL record 8 field goals including the game winner against Houston. His single week haul of 26 points is more than the monthly average of 7 BUMS kickers.
